i love so much

i love kerry's i love month.

i love how this girl loves her cat. tonight she was describing to me her design for the world's best cat tower. i feel like she might really build cat towers someday. and i know she's going to be drawing them tomorrow.

i love how they sat and made valentine's cards here.
i love how happy it makes people to get a special card, made just for them.

and i love how i made everyone a new pillowcase. with their initials sewn on for a special valentine from mama.

with this amazing warm red flannel fabric on one side that i found thrifting, and a cool lawnish cotton on the other side. an all seasons pillowcase!

i love how much they loved their pillowcases, and played with them the next morning in so many different ways. potato sack walking. as bags for adventures. and then just as cozy pillows to snuggle up with.
i love how i got the idea to make us some new pillowcases from this worn out one that was sitting on my sewing table. and then as i was making them, i realized it is in my blood to make pillowcases for valentines gifts. my grandmother used to do that for us! i still have one of the satin ones she made for me 20ish years ago.

i love how these kids play together, sometimes. when they get it right, they get it so right. and when they get it wrong...... yikes. reminds me of their parents a bit. hmmmmmm.
i love that their dad went to support a local toy store that was robbed recently, and has asked for community support, by offering a large discount to people who come in this month. being the small business owner that he is, d felt for them, and went and got the kids these new horses for a valentine's present. and he wouldn't accept the full discount. he and max went and did that. that is so sweet to me.

i love how he puts his pens in his bag.

i love taking care of this baby. she is so sick in her tummy today. i love that she slept on me today like she did when she was tiny, and i knit and knit while she slept, while the brother was having physical therapy, which as far as he's concerned is just a play date with an adult.

i love eating honey off a spoon.
