it's been a long time....

but I've happened upon a new to me blog that's got me excited and as creativity is contagious, look what's happened, I've caught the blog bug at least for today and here is a little post:

a poem I wrote in winter:

To the Impossible Holy- an Ode

To stay with nature you tell her in a haunt to hang one
piece of laundry with every wash

For a long life’s worth, she stocks up on candles and fabric, she is a woman so the worry and to the baby, you must toughen up fast.  The firewood lasted all night, notated in poem at sunrise.  The concern is always how to make it last but this they cannot explain.  As the plant on the high shelf learned to delay her drying or the one the baby overwaters and so learned to grow new leaves with inexplicable quickness.  They all learn to imagine nothing to be something

or the other way

She types the word whole, and the typewriter gouges through the O.  Sundown and we can all drink the hemisphere into peace, pieces of untouchable rest now touched.  Moments of eyes pulling from depths finally found so you, you, are seen as clean, clean and ready to romp in the wind where she left you

me and him at her school play

they solved it

she was key
